The G Series Pro is an advanced development by Gatorade that consists of nutritional support at the three different stages of physical activity: before, during and after. The series has come about through the work done at the Gatorade Sports Science Institute and the feedback of world class athletes.

Whether you train every single day, competing on a regular basis, or if you exercise a couple of times a week and play in match ups every month or so, getting the most from your body and performing to your maximum still matters; the G Series Pro helps you do that.

For the three stages there are three products. PRIME is for before, PERFORM is for during and RECOVER is for after; all are catered very specifically for their respective tasks. This is PRIME.

The two main things your body needs before you compete are to be hydrated, and to have enough fuel. Gatorade 01 Prime provides the optimum balance between drinks and pure gels, with the right balance between carbohydrate and sodium. Gels can be very concentrated, with plenty of carbohydrates, but very little electrolyte content. Drinks may have plenty of sodium but do athletes really want to consume half a litre of fluid just before exercise? Gatorade 01 Prime Gel strikes a balance between the two, not too concentrated, but not pure liquid.

Gatorade 01 Prime is a concentrated formula of pre-workout fuel containing B vitamins to help with energy metabolism as part of a daily diet. The inclusion of isomaltulose reduces the blood glucose rise in comparison to glucose alone. It is less viscous than a Gel and less fluid than a drink.

Drink Gatorade 01 Prime 15 minutes prior to the start of training or competition for pre-exercise fuel without caffeine.
