The Alpine footwear made by Jack Wolfskin consists of high specification hiking boots that are constructed to offer fantastic support and protect the foot from hard terrain and environments.

The robust outer materials of the boot have been designed to offer incredible levels of durability and protection against moisture and impact from potentially rocky and rough terrain. The shock-absorbing sole allows for excellent comfort, and is supported by a close-fit upper around the ankle for additional support.

The sure-grip sole has high torsion resistance for brilliant roll-off performance as well as excellent traction, and the breathable padding creates a cool internal microclimate.

The boot also consists of Texapore technology; a waterproof, breathable construction membrane. This 4-ply laminate material makes up a layer of mesh carrying material, the membrane itself, another layer of padding and a lining material. This particular boot includes Texapore O3, the most breathable version of the technology.

There is also a motion guide shank between the upper and the sole. This determines the torsion resistance of the whole sole, and as a result, the activities which the boot is suitable for, and thus this boot has a high level of longitudinal rigidity and lateral support.
