Extra stability is provided by a board lasting in the heel area as well as slip lasting in the forefoot for flexibility. There is also a EVA sockliner moulded to the shape of the foot, which can be removed to accommodate a medical orthotic.

The ASICS High Abrasion Rubber, a tough rubber compound used at the heavy-contact areas of the outersole, ensures that there is no excessive wear.
